Election conference of Ukrainian Hairdressers Union was held on August 22, 2017

The main topic of the conference was the election of a new president of UHU. Over 90% of the conference delegates from various cities of Ukraine voted for Oleksandr Tolubko, thus he was elected as the President.

Oleksii Antoniuk, who used to manage the organization for 20 years, was elected by the conference delegates as an honorary president of UHU.

Moreover, the team of vice-presidents was re-elected, who form the presidium of the organization according to the Charter of UHU. Presidium is the second important management body preceded only by the conference.

The team of vice-presidents:

• Vice-president for hairstyling, male division - Yurii Yushchenko. Moreover, Yurii is an organizer of a try-out of the UHU championship of Ukraine ‘The First Capital’ in Kharkiv
• Vice-president for hairstyling, female division - Olha Mantrova.
• Vice-president for nail art – Iryna Amrosieva
• Vice-president, an organizer of a try-out of the UHU championship of Ukraine ‘Golden Lion’ in Lviv - Olha Stetskiv
• Vice-president, an organizer of a try-out of the UHU championship of Ukraine ‘Amber Stars’ in Rivne - Viktoriia Bordiuh
• Vice-president, an organizer of a try-out of the UHU championship of Ukraine ‘Bukovyna Cup’ in Chernivtsi - Nataliia Bidiak
• Vice-president, an organizer of an international championship under the auspices of UHU ‘The Carpathians Cup’ in Uzhgorod – Diana Shymon.

Speech of Oleksandr Tolubko, the new president of UHU

I would like to express my gratitude to all those people who supported me in election for the post of the President of Ukrainian Hairdressers Union, to all who managed to come personally and who delegated his vote!
Your support is very important! It is pleasant to realize that we are one large team of UHU, which truly unites professionals of all fields of the national beauty industry. Delegates from various cities and regions of Ukraine like Kyiv, Kyiv region, Kharkiv, Lviv, Dnipro, Chernivtsi, Uzhgorod, Rivne, Mariupol, Kremenchuk, Odesa and Donetsk region came to attend the conference!
The renovated team of UHU starts working. We will do our best to change the beauty industry and the competition movement for the better. We will prove the effectiveness of our work with our actions rather than words.

I would like to emphasize that UHU is open for all professionals of the beauty industry, masters, aldermen, juries, trainers.
We invite to join our team the leaders, who have been known in Ukraine for a long time owing to their professional achievements and contributions to the industry development.
At the same time, our doors are open for new, young, ambitious specialists, teachers, who have reached a certain level and now strive for a step forward in their professional development and to try their hand as trainers, aldermen and then juries.

We will keep the best traditions of UHU and the competition movement under its auspices, which have developed over the last 20 years; we will respectfully treat the great history and achievements of the organization. However, we will implement reforms which will help UHU to move to a higher level of development in Ukraine and globally.

We invite the masters to take part in the ХХ Anniversary UHU Championship of Ukraine in Kharkiv which will take place on October 26-28! It will be the final stage of the try-outs over the last year and a half. It will be the most prestigious and large-scale championship! The championship winners will get a chance to join the national team next year and to take part in OMC European Championship.
