XXVIII UKRAINIAN CHAMPIONSHIP

Registration for the Championship is open from 5^th of June 2025

The XXVIII Ukrainian Championship will be held in a mixed format: some of the nominations in each section will be held online, while others will be held in the traditional format at the competition floor.

Submission of finished works for ONLINE nominations is open until 15^th of August inclusive!

•        Payment of fees for ONLINE nominations by 15 August.
•        Payment of fees for OFFLINE nominations by 10 September!

Fees can be refunded until 10^th of September 2025.

Championships Rules

OWNERSHIP OF CHAMPIONSHIP CONTENT

All photos of the championship participants’ works are the property of the OMC Ukraine (Union of Beauty Industry Professionals of Ukraine), which has the right to use them in its own interests. By participating in the championship, the participant automatically consents thereto.

PLEASE NOTE! If a contestant wins a prize in a category at the Ukrainian Championship in the current year, he/she must move up a category in that category in the following competition year!

PLEASE NOTE!!! Each participant must choose a category of participation depending on his/her experience (see rules). The participant must confirm his/her work experience with a diploma. If the specialist does not have a graduate diploma, he/she will participate in the MASTERS category. The organiser, at its discretion, reserves the right to review the social networks and achievements of participants to confirm their category. If a participant deliberately indicates a lower category, he/she may be disqualified without refund of fees. If a participant wishes to participate in nominations in higher categories, the organiser reserves the right to do so.

Cost of participation in nominations(tests):

• Students – UAH 450 (10 Euro)
• Student + Junior – UAH 675 (14 Euro)
• Juniors – UAH 900 (19 Euro)
• Specialists (Masters) – UAH 1,100 (21 Euro)
• Specialists (Masters) + Professionals – UAH 1,175 (25 Euro)
• Professionals – UAH 1,250 (26 Euro)
• No category – UAH 1,000 (20 Euro)

Double OMС nominations +50% to the cost of the 1 nomination(test) (hairdressing)

With the participation of 10 or more students from one State Educational Institution, the cost for participation in 1 nomination is UAH 350 (7 Euro). This condition of participation applies only to the STUDENT CATEGORY (division into categories depends on the practical experience of the specialist. See Rules https://spu-ua.com/ua/371-pravila)

Bonuses for participation in 2 or more nominations for specialists of all categories:

• 2 nominations – 5% discount
• 3 nominations – 10% discount
• 4 nominations – 15% discount
• 5+ nominations – 20% discount

Winners (gold medallists) of the qualifying rounds of the XXVIII Ukrainian Championship (First Capital 2024 Kharkiv, Lviv Beauty Cup 2024, Kyiv Beauty Cup 2025 and Golden Lion 2025) – one nomination is FREE.

SPU members receive a 20% discount on participation in the championship, regardless of the number of nominations. Discounts cannot be combined!

CHAMPIONSHIP AWARDS:

• Winners (1st, 2nd, 3rd place) will receive a diploma, medal, and gifts from partners;
• Competitors– each competitor will receive a diploma for participation;
• Jurors, trainers, teams will receive honorary diplomas;
• GRAND PRIX winners, best trainers and best teams in each section will receive Ukrainian championship cups, diplomas and gifts from partners.
• GOLD PRIZE WINNERS OF THE OFFLINE CHAMPIONSHIP will receive a diploma, medal, gift from partners + cup!

Conditions for participation in the GRAND PRIX, best trainer, best team and scoring system

Terms and conditions for participation in the Grand Prix draw for eyebrow modelling:

• The Grand Prix is contested among the Juniors category and Masters(Specialists) + Professionals categories;
• The specialist must participate in 4 nominations for eyebrow modelling.
•  The specialist must participate in at least 2 nominations offline (on the competition floor).
• The winner is determined by the highest average score for the prize places.

Terms and conditions for participation in the Grand Prix draw for hairdressing art (gents section):

• The Grand Prix is contested among the Juniors + Masters + Professionals categories;
• The specialist must participate in at least 4 nominations;
•  The specialist must participate in at least 2 nominations offline (on the competition floor).
• The winner is determined by the highest average score for the prize places.

Terms and conditions for participation in the Grand Prix draw for hairdressing art (ladies section):

• The Grand Prix is contested among Juniors + Specialists + Professionals categories;
• The specialist participates in least 5 nominations, one of which (2 combinated tests) must be in accordance with the OMC rules.
• The specialist must participate in at least 2 nominations offline (on the competition floor).
• The winner is determined by the highest average score for the prize places.

Terms and conditions for participation in the Grand Prix draw for hairdressing students:

• The Grand Prix is contested in the Students category.
• The specialist must participate in at least 3 nominations.
• The specialist must participate in at least 2 nominations offline (on the competition floor).
• The winner is determined by the highest average score for the prize places.

Terms and conditions for participation in the Grand Prix for makeup:

• The Grand Prix is contested in the Junior + Masters categories;
• The specialist must participate in at least 4 nominations.
• The specialist must participate in at least 2 nominations offline (on the competition floor).
• The winner is determined by the highest average score for the prize places.

Terms and conditions for participation in the Grand Prix draw for nail art:

• The GRAND PRIX is awarded for the Specialist + Professional categories, and the Golden Start Cup is awarded for the Students + Juniors categories.
• Competitors must participate in at least 5 nominations. One of them must be manicure (any type); one must be modelling (any type); one must be in accordance with international OMC rules (manicure with design or nail painting box, or fantasy modelling on a mannequin hand. One of the 3 options chosen by the competitor).

Competitors can complete these 3 mandatory nominations both online and offline.

• Please note! At least 2 nominations (among all those in which the participant takes part) must be completed on the field!
• The Grand Prix is awarded with the Winner’s Cup

SYSTEM TO DETERMINE THE WINNERS OF THE GRAND PRIX, THE BEST TEAM AND THE BEST TRAINER: hairdressing, make-up, eyebrow shaping, nail art

FOR OMC Ukraine national and regional championships:

• The participant who has fulfilled all the conditions for participation in the GRAND PRIX BY SECTIONS and scored the highest number of points for prize places in the nominations specified in the GRAND PRIX conditions becomes the absolute winner and holder of the GRAND PRIX cup. 1st place – 3 points. 2nd place – 2 points, 3rd place – 1 point (for ONLINE nominations) and 1st place – 4.5 points, 2nd place – 3 points, 3rd place – 1.5 points (for OFFLINE nominations).
• The title of BEST TEAM is awarded to the team that has scored the highest number of points for its team members in the prize places: 1st place – 3 points, 2nd place – 2 points, 3rd place – 1 point (for ONLINE nominations) and 1st place – 4.5 points, 2nd place – 3 points, 3rd place – 1.5 points (for OFFLINE nominations). Team members can participate in both online and offline nominations. However, some nominations must be in offline format (on the field). If all team members participate only in online nominations, the team can not participate in the team championship.
• The title of BEST TRAINER is awarded to the trainer whose team members have scored the highest number of points for prize places:  1st place – 3 points, 2nd place – 2 points, 3rd place – 1 point (for ONLINE nominations) and 1st place – 4.5 points, 2nd place – 3 points, 3rd place – 1.5 points (for OFFLINE nominations).
